Howlin' Halloween

This Halloween we present: Extra Scary Skeleton and Kitty Pryde (from X-men) accompanied by Lockheed!

Crazy Characters

Six days at Disneyland, and Rhys's autograph book was filling up!

Rhys and Lily are now officially Padawans....after graduation from the Jedi Training Academy in Disneyland.

California Cravin's

Plenty of food to choose from in Disneyland. Pineapple on a stick (Rhys's favourite), Coloured sugar in a tube, glow in the dark ice-cubes at Blue Bayou.....and there was of course Lily's daily breakfast selection from the buffet at the Hyatt: watermelon and bacon!!!

Disney Dream

OK, it's been a while between posts! I've got some catching up to do. To start, we took an amazing trip to Disneyland the last week of September, thanks to the generosity of the grandparents. The kids and their cousins had a truly fabulous time.....and I can honestly say, that after 6 straight days at Disneyland and California Adventure, we were well and truly worn out!!! As usual, click on any photos to enlarge....

Ride for Research

For those that didn't know, I participated in the Ride To Conquer Cancer on June 15th/16th. It is an annual event, over 2 days, from Vancouver to Seattle.

I must say that despite the fatique, and sore muscles, it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.
Over 240km, about 16 hours of riding, amongst 2,642 riders.
People that were strangers only a day earlier, giving each other words of encouragement (especially up those nasty hills!)…and the inspiring yellow-flag riders….indicating that they are cancer survivors themselves!
I am proud to say I raised $2,630. Our CTV team of 47 strong, raised $154,598.33 And in total The 2013 Ride To Conquer Cancer raised $10.4 million dollars for Cancer Research.
So...if you need me…I’ll be in the hot tub !
