Basic Business

Facinating Favela
A major Favela (slum) in Rio, one of the larger ones right behind our hotel. A small group of us went on a tour (very cautiously) with a local guide.
Wild Waves
Some rough seas just outside our hotel....and some more beach views. Ipanema Beach, and Copacabana from the rocks at Ipanema.
Beach Beauties

Wet Work
Athletics. The last couple of days in the pouring rain! The Women's marathon route was along the beach, past the front of our hotel.
