Christmas Chaos

Christmas Day....lots of gifts to unwrap. Grandma & Grandpa came over for breakfast.....then we headed off to their place for Christmas dinner, and celebrations with the whole family.

Festive Fun

Leading up to Christmas....I returned to work after maternity leave. At almost a year, Rhys is a chatterbox, and cruising around the living room (but not walking on his own).
We went to see the Nutcracker Ballet, a Canucks Game.....and we went to Lily's Breakfast-with-Santa piano recital where she played 2 small pieces, a Christmas carol duet with her teacher, and sang Feliz Navidad in front of about 30 people!

Wild Weather

A record snowfall, a White Christmas...and of course the usual chaos on the roads, and people house-bound....but pretty nevertheless! We shoveled like everyone else....but also had fun toboganning, and even some skiing.....
This is Jason digging our car out (with Lily's help!), our backyard, and the icicles as seen from Rhys's bedroom window. The pirate? well....don't ask......(as usual, click on any of the pictures to enlarge them.)

Santa Sighting

One of the first, and possibly the last year for a while....that neither kid is afraid to sit on Santa's knee!

Halloween Happenings

With many Halloween events to go to, Lily was Atomic Betty for treat-or-treating, her aunts party, the school parade & to visit the haunted village. She was Cinderella at her halloween piano recital, and a Canuck at her halloween skate. Rhys was a skunk....I was a pirate...and Jason, a music pirate.....happy Halloween!

Aqua-Baby Antics

Rhys at day one of Aquababies at the Canada Games pool. He loved it!! Next to us are buddies Michelle & Henry (it looks like no-one is around, but there are about 20 babies in the class!!)

Sweet Smiles

Almost 9 months....finally crawling, enjoying food...and full of smiles!!

Fabulous Five

Fall has brought Lily's first day at Kindergarten, piano lessons, highland dancing, and soccer...not to mention lots of love for her brother! As you can see, with such a tiring schedule...she'll fall asleep anywhere! (click to enlarge photos)
